The BLS skills session is Part 2 of the American Heart Association’s Heart-code blended learning course.Part 1 must be taken prior to attending this session. Visit https://onlineaha.org/ to purchase and take the online session. Students who successfully complete the BLS Course online (Part 1) and this hands-on session (Part 2) will receive a BLS Provider course completion card, valid for two years.
ACLS Skills HeartCode uses a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities to teach students ACLS knowledge and skills. After completing the online portion, students attend a structured ACLS Hands-On Session with an AHA Instructor. This session focuses on meaningful skills practice, debriefing, team scenarios, discussions of local protocols, and skills testing.
* Not recommended for the first time students or in-experienced health care providers. Consider taking in class training.
